Baileigh SW-84-3 Hydraulic Steelworker
Baileigh SW-84-3 Hydraulic Steelworker
Location:Southampton, United Kingdom
Description
The SW-84 hydraulic iron worker is a great way to step up to a dual operator ironworker. This machine puts out a little more tonnage on the punch station than the SW-62, a whopping 75 tons to be exact. But the shearing and notching station is where the SW-84 really begins to shine. These stations put out a whopping 110 tons of force, almost double what the largest single operator machine puts out. This really comes in handy when you have larger stock to shear. But the best part of the SW-84 is the increase you will see in productivity, it allows two operators on each end of the machine to work simultaneously without loss of power at either station. The SW-84 has five work stations, these include punching, notching, flat bar shearing, angle shearing, and bar shearing. The SW-84 uses all vertical movement to perform functions at all five stations. The advantage to the vertical movement is less material waste due to less clearance being needed and punch tooling will last longer as the stress is spread out over the entire circumference of the punch instead of just one edge. The fully welded frame on the SW-84 adds to the overall rigidity on the machine which makes it more accurate and will hold its tolerances better than other machines on the market. Other great features of the SW-84 are an electric back gauge, swing away stripper, oversized work tables, foot pedal operation, and waste buckets. Optional tooling such as press brakes, pipe notchers, channel and I-beam shears, and others are available.
